In the case of the culinary experience at Santa Marta Marriott, it was guided by Edwin Rodríguez's tasting menu—recognized for his contemporary and elevated interpretation of Colombian cuisine—and highlighted the authentic flavors and ancestral traditions that make Colombia a destination world-class culinary, and one of the most outstanding cuisines in Latin America.

Colombian gastronomy has experienced an astonishing evolution in recent years, establishing itself as one of the next emerging stars of Latin American cuisine. From the Caribbean beaches to the Amazon jungles and the Andean heights, each region of Colombia contributes its unique ingredients and traditional techniques.

As the nation celebrates its cultural and geographic richness, its cuisine is a feast of flavors, colors and traditions rooted in the country's history. In particular, the Colombian coast, bathed by the warm waters of the Caribbean, has witnessed a culinary legacy that dates back to ancient times with dishes that carry the aroma of a colonial era in which European influences merged with local ingredients. Over time, flavors from other parts of the world have also been added, due to its cultural melting pot.
