Avianca will offer more than 1.4 million seats on more than 3,900 flights to 75 destinations in America and Europe, between Friday, March 22 and Monday, April 1, a period that corresponds to the Easter holiday season in several countries.

“Compared to last year's Easter season, we have increased the number of chairs available by almost 26%. Likewise, the number of frequencies has increased for this season, with 23% additional flights compared to 2023, in line with Avianca's objective that more and more people travel by plane, safely, on time and with suitcases at their destinations,” commented David Alemán, Avianca Sales Director for Colombia and South America.

Among the preferred destinations for this season are Pereira, Cúcuta and Barranquilla in Colombia; Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Washington in North America; El Salvador, Guatemala and Costa Rica in Central America; Aruba and Curaçao in the Caribbean; Quito and Galapagos in Ecuador; Rio de Janeiro in Brazil; and London in Europe.

Avianca recommends its travelers take into account the following tips for their trips during Easter:

Digital channels: Manage your reservation through our digital channels, and your luggage at airport kiosks.

Self-service: Use the automatic machines at the airport to check luggage.

Flight status: Stay informed about the status of the flight, either through the Avianca app or on Avianca.com

Anticipation: Arrive 3 hours before the flight departure time.

Requirements in order: Make sure you have all the required documentation ready according to the destination.
