The FAEVYT 2024 travel agents congress was presented

With the presence of Andrés Deyá, president of the Argentine Federation of Associations of Travel and Tourism Companies -FAEVYT-; Yanina Martínez, Undersecretary of Tourism of the Nation; María José Pogler, Undersecretary of Tourism Chubut; Gustavo Sastre, Mayor Madryn; Cecilia Pavia, Secretary of Tourism Madryn, Hernán Gómez, 2nd vice president of FAEVYT and Leticia Benítez, president of the Travel and Tourism Association of Peninsula Valdés -AAV&TPV- the 49th Congress of Travel Agents that will take place in Puerto Madryn was officially presented on June 13 and 14 under the motto “Here we are, overcoming the challenges!” 

“We are happy to announce this 49th edition of the Travel Agents Congress. It will be a great meeting with training, keynote talks, sector workshops and, as always, a look at the future of the sector through new technologies and tools. Puerto Madryn is an ideal city to hold the Congress due to its high connectivity, its natural beauties and the professionalism and warmth of its people,” said Andrés Deyá, president of FAEVYT, adding “Once again we are going to reaffirm the importance of travel agents.” in the commercial chain in a meeting that we will work with the Nation, the Province of Chubut and the Municipality of Madryn to make it historic”

For her part, Yanina Martínez pointed out: "The Congress of Travel Agents is very important because of all the economic movement that it generates in each city that takes place, but also because it adds quality and professionalism to the sector. The work between the public and private sectors It is going to be the key to having a great Congress.”

Likewise, María José Pogler said that “We have high expectations for this Congress of Travel Agents and we are already working to make it a success. It is going to be a special date since one day after the Congress we will be opening the Whale Season and what better than having travel agents from all over the country for the event.”

For his part, Gustavo Sastre, Mayor of Madryn, said “All travel agents who participate in the Congress will be very welcome to our city, as they are, without a doubt, a fundamental gear for tourist activity.” In this same sense, the Secretary of Tourism of Madryn, Cecilia Pavia stated that it will be an opportunity to continue publicizing all the tourist attractions of the city.

The workshops, conferences, debates on ideas and tools to innovate will be the hallmarks of this 49th edition of the Congress, which will also feature the FAEVYT Solidario action, an initiative that seeks to leave a mark on the venues where the meeting is held.
