Meliá Hotels International, a leading hotel company in Spain, continues to expand its presence in Asia with the signing of two new hotels in Thailand. Also noteworthy is the arrival of the luxury brand Paradisus by Meliá to the continent with a spectacular project and marking a new milestone in the expansion of its innovative concept of all-inclusive resorts that arrived in Europe for the first time a year ago.
Paradisus Pattaya Jomtien Beach, an exclusive newly built resort, will have a prime location overlooking the ocean on the coast of Pattaya, one of the preferred destinations for weekend getaways in Thailand thanks to its proximity to Bangkok. Scheduled to open in 2028, this new resort will offer 690 rooms and suites that will bring the essence of the brand to the destination. In addition, 44 of these rooms will have a private pool with views that merge with the horizon and provide an extra point of exclusivity. The spaces of this hotel will be cared for in detail, giving special prominence to the natural elements and the environment in which it is located, with green areas and also a vertical garden with tropical vegetation typical of the area. Paradisus Pattaya Jomtien Beach will also have a wide gastronomic offer, a complete gym, a spa where you can enjoy the best wellness treatments and, also, a convention center and different spaces for meetings and events.
The Paradisus by Meliá brand will also bring its exclusive Destination Inclusive concept to the destination, with which it proposes a different all-inclusive resort concept that focuses on the destination. Offering guests experiences that connect with destinations and promoting knowledge of local culture.
On the other hand, Meliá Pattaya City hopes to open its doors at the end of this year after a complete renovation of the facilities of, until now, the Grand Sole Pattaya hotel. Also located in the city of Pattaya but, in this case, with an urban location, the hotel has 234 rooms that will adapt to the style and attributes of the Meliá Hotels & Resorts brand. Among the novelties that the new hotel will present, the commitment to a gastronomic offer based on the sea stands out, as a reference to the coastal destination in which it is located. Meliá Pattaya City will also have new bars, MICE spaces, as well as a kids' club, gym and everything necessary to offer a first-class experience.
The signing of both hotels, the Paradisus Pattaya Jomtien Beach and the Meliá Pattaya City, are the result of collaboration with Asset World Corporation (AWC), a leading real estate group in Thailand with which Meliá Hotels International shares various projects in the country.
