Buenos Aires seeks to boost tourism from the United States
The City Tourism Agency conducted trainings to operators and agencies in the cities of New York, New Jersey and Chicago in the United States
Between April 8 and 13, the Tourism Agency of the City of Buenos Aires was in the United States promoting the destination. Through meetings with agencies and operators in Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey and Chicago, the goal is to increase the arrival of American tourists.
Within the framework of the actions, training was also organized for different representatives of the tourism sector in the General Consulate of Argentina, located in Chicago. The Consul General, Atilio Berardi Hueda; the Deputy Consul, Marcelo Boffi; and Ana Iglesia, representative of American Airlines; Julieta Kalinowski, for Copa Airlines; and David Rivera and Lorena Velázquez of United Airlines. Each one presented the new connectivity of their companies between Chicago and the City of Buenos Aires.
During the event, the tourist offer of the city, the agenda of events and the digital tools that facilitate the stay of the visitors were presented. The trainings and meetings were in charge of Fernando Amer, Operational Manager of International Markets.
