Salta will have direct connection with Panama since December
The province will add a new international flight connection as of December 13 with two weekly frequencies
As of December 13, Copa Airlines will initiate direct flights from Salta to the Hub of the Americas in Panama, connecting this city with another 79 destinations in North, Central, South America and the Caribbean.

The official announcement was made yesterday morning after a meeting between the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports of the Province, Juan Manuel Lavallen and the Regional Manager of Mercosur of Copa Airlines, Gustavo Esusy. Also present was the president of the Chamber of Tourism, Carlos Eckhardt.
Minister Lavallen said that "within our Strategic Tourism Plan, one of the fundamental axes on which Governor Urtubey asked us to work is connectivity and with this flight we are taking a leap forward so that tourism in our province continues to grow" .
"We want to thank Copa Airlines for trusting our province with this new flight that will allow us to continue expanding our offer and from Salta, the north will connect with the world," added Lavallen.
The official highlighted the historical growth recorded by the province of Salta in air-commercial matters. We currently have 114 weekly air frequencies that connect Salta with 7 national and 5 international destinations.

According to the statement in the presentation, Copa Airlines will begin direct flights from Salta to Panama City on December 13 with two weekly flights on Thursday and Sunday at 2:41, arriving in Panama at 6:26, after 5:45 hours of flights. Likewise, the return flight from Panama will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays, departing at 16:10 from the Tocumen International Airport, arriving at 23:51 at the Martin Miguel de Güemes Airport, after 5:41 hours of flight.
It was also announced that tickets will be available from Saturday, July 7 with a promotional price of $ 350 plus round-trip taxes.
It should be noted that Salta will then become the 80th destination of Copa Airlines, present in 32 countries of the Americas. Through the Hub of the Americas, the hub for air connections with more international destinations in Latin America, passengers from Salta will have access to an extensive network of connections, such as 13 cities in the United States, two in Canada, five in Mexico and 27 of the Caribbean to which Copa Airlines flies.
