Aeropuertos Uruguay was highlighted by Great Place to Work on its list of "Best Workplaces in Latin America 2025," in further recognition of its organizational culture.
Within the category evaluating companies with between 50 and 499 employees, Aeropuertos Uruguay ranked 24th. It is the only company in the airport sector on the list, which highlights the 100 best companies in the region.
To compile the ranking, companies employing more than 4.2 million people across Latin America were surveyed, receiving more than 2.3 million confidential responses. Key behaviors that drive trust in leadership, connection with colleagues, and organizational collaboration and loyalty were taken into account, factors considered by Great Place to Work as "key to creating great workplaces."
“At Aeropuertos Uruguay, we place special emphasis on helping our employees reach their full potential in an environment that fosters collaboration, celebrates diversity, and promotes holistic well-being. The culture and experience of our employees is one of our strategic pillars. This new regional distinction makes us proud and motivates us to continue investing in their professional and personal development,” said Fernando Sansone, People and Culture Manager at Aeropuertos Uruguay.
Nationally, Great Place to Work Uruguay had already ranked Aeropuertos Uruguay as the fourth best place to work in March, with more than 301 employees. The company was also recognized as eighth in the ranking of companies that employ women.
A month later, Randstad recognized it as the second most attractive company to work for, according to its Employer Branding study in Uruguay.
The company operates the airports of Carrasco, Punta del Este, Durazno, Melo, Carmelo, Paysandú, Salto, and Rivera, which are part of the National International Airport System, and is part of the Corporación América Airports group.
