IMEX America, North America's leading event for the global meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry, will take place in Las Vegas with more than 15,000 attendees. Aruba will have its most prominent presence to date with a large, newly designed booth, accompanied by a strong delegation of 12 Aruba partners.

The fair is an essential platform for generating business opportunities, consolidating strategic ties, and promoting the international positioning of leading destinations. For Aruba, it represents the most productive annual event in terms of contacts, agreements, and projections in the incentive travel and corporate events segment.

Previous recognitions and results

At the previous edition, Aruba recorded more than 350 customer interactions, a booth featuring high-impact activities, and creative initiatives that included experiences such as "One Happy Hour" and innovative brand activations. These results were accompanied by international recognition, including the Smart Star Award for Best International CVB/DMO and the Global Eventex Award, received jointly with ECO DMS. These milestones consolidated the destination's reputation in the MICE industry and confirmed its competitiveness in an expanding market.

The new stand and the Aruban delegation

The 2025 edition of IMEX America will mark the unveiling of Aruba's largest booth to date (Booth D2642). The space has been designed to reflect the island's energy and vitality, while also offering a professional environment conducive to meetings and negotiations.

The Aruban delegation will be made up of 12 strategic partners:

  • Arawak DMX – Aruba
  • Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
  • De Palm DMC Aruba
  • ECODMS Aruba
  • Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort
  • EPIC Aruba DMC
  • Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino
  • Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino
  • Red Sail Aruba
  • Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort
  • The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba
  • JOIA Aruba by Iberostar

The joint representation of these stakeholders ensures a comprehensive showcase of the destination's offering, ranging from destination management services and authentic experiences to first-class accommodation options.

The “Aruba Effect” as a differential

Among the key attributes that consolidate Aruba's standing in the MICE sector is the so-called "Aruba Effect," a concept that encapsulates the combination of hospitality, unique natural settings, and service excellence. This distinctive feature, emphasized by organizers and participants, transforms events into memorable experiences and reinforces the trust placed in the destination.

Factors such as air accessibility, location outside the hurricane belt, modern infrastructure, and the multilingual capacity of its population constitute competitive advantages that support its position in the global incentive and meetings market.

Screening at IMEX America 2025

Aruba's agenda at IMEX America will include, as a central event, the traditional One Happy Hour, scheduled for Tuesday, October 7, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at booth D2642. This event has established itself as one of the most popular and represents a symbol of the island's hospitable identity within the fair.

With an expanded presence, a strengthened delegation, and a renewed focus on sustainability and innovation, Aruba reaffirms its leadership in the Caribbean as a comprehensive destination for hosting international conferences, incentives, and events.
