With experience in the global market and a keen eye for local opportunities and challenges, Farina emphasizes the importance of dialogue with authorities and Brazil's role as a strategic destination.

The importance of the Forum

For Farina, the meeting is a fundamental space to align interests and propose solutions.

"It's a very important event for the entire market. We can speak with authorities who can truly influence the decisions made," Farina emphasizes.

Although Norwegian doesn't currently operate a fixed season in Brazil, the executive notes that ships that call there also suffer the impact of infrastructure and costs. "The destination, Brazil, is always very clear. As we achieve greater safety and cost savings, the country will become an essential destination on the route."

Legislation and regulatory environment

One of the Forum's central points is the debate on regulatory frameworks. Farina believes there are signs of openness and willingness to engage in dialogue.

The Ministry of Ports and Airports is very open to dialogue with the market and industry. Together, we can find important solutions.

Ports and new boarding points

Norwegian has expanded its boarding options, especially in the United States and the Caribbean. In addition to Miami, the company has opened operations in Jacksonville, Port Canaveral, Galveston, and Tampa, expanding its offerings to Latin American travelers.

Caribbean and Asian seasons

According to Farina, the company is preparing for significant supply in the Caribbean starting in November, in addition to a robust season in Asia.

We have ships departing from major ports, with embarkations in Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. These routes are varied and highly sought after by the Brazilian public.

Sustainability and innovation

Norwegian's environmental commitment is also gaining momentum. According to Farina, 70% of the fleet is already adapted for use with electricity in ports, and the new Prima-class ships, planned for 2027 and 2028, will be able to operate on methanol and biofuels.

We are committed to the communities we visit and to empowering our team. Sustainability is the foundation of our actions.

Onboard experience

When asked about Norwegian's differentiators, Farina highlights hospitality and human connection.

It's a people-driven industry, and I'm proud to say we have the best staff on board. Fine dining, exclusive entertainment, ideal accommodations for families, couples, or solo travelers—there's something special for everyone.
