Spooktacular returns to SeaWorld Orlando with even more Halloween fun for families

SeaWorld Orlando is preparing to welcome thousands of families back with the return of Spooktacular 2025 , one of Central Florida's most anticipated Halloween celebrations. The event, which will take place on select dates through November 2 and is included with regular park admission, offers a diverse lineup that combines entertainment, iconic characters, interactive activities, and special dining experiences.

Highlights this year include the Trick-or-Treat Trail , with 12 stations spread throughout the park; the addition of Spookley the Square Pumpkin , with its message of inclusion and diversity; the Harvest Maze ; the Pumpkin Patch and Storytelling ; as well as mermaid encounters, costume contests, themed crafts, and scavenger hunts. Also included are activities featuring Sesame Street characters , such as the Halloween parade, storytelling with Big Bird, cookie decorating, and the special Spooktacular Breakfast, available with advance reservation.

The event is also part of the Teal Pumpkin Program , an initiative that allows families with dietary restrictions to participate, ensuring safe options for everyone. As part of the celebration, children and adults are welcome to attend in costume, with specific rules for visitors over 13 years of age.

The Halloween experience is complemented by Howl-O-Scream , which will take place from September 5 to November 1 on 28 select nights. Aimed at an adult audience and ticketed separately, it will include five haunted houses—three of them brand new—six scare zones, and multiple live shows. Tickets for Howl-O-Scream are now available at travel agencies throughout Latin America.
