The event took place at AYA Earth Partners | AYA Hub, within the Cidade Matarazzo complex. On September 4, TTW Group hosted Africa Day 2025, a gathering that formalized the launch of TTW Africa, the group's new luxury wholesaler dedicated to the African continent, bringing together 100 travel agencies.

From his training in tourism to leading a global group

With a background in tourism, Cacau Sagioro built his career in the high-end travel sector and joined the TTW Group almost a decade ago. Today, he leads the operations of five companies—now six with TTW Africa.
“My role is to take care of the operation as a whole: team, commercial delivery, integration with marketing, product, and finance. It's intense, but it's what makes the business work,” Sagioro summarizes.

Luxury as the essence of experience

According to Sagioro, luxury goes far beyond offering exclusive products:
“Luxury is about providing excellence, anticipating desires, and offering a complete solution for the customer. Their time is unique and valuable—that's what we believe in.”

This approach is aligned with the slow travel trend, which prioritizes experiences of disconnection and contemplation:
"Africa offers just that: an invitation to rest and deep contact with nature and local culture."

Expansion of the African portfolio

The inclusion of Africa in the group's portfolio was planned well in advance. Currently, the group collaborates with more than 100 partner agencies and has 30 carefully selected African suppliers.
"Demand for African destinations has grown dramatically. Trips that were previously focused solely on honeymoons are now extending to families, groups of friends, and multigenerational experiences."

With this repositioning, TTW projects 35% growth in the African segment by 2025.

Approximation between continents

New air connections also drove this expansion. South African Airways already operates a direct São Paulo–Cape Town flight, while airlines such as Emirates, Qatar, and Turkish have increased access to destinations like Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, and Kilimanjaro.
“These routes brought Africa closer to Brazil than ever before, making logistics much more accessible for our customers,” Sagioro emphasizes.

New products and exclusive destinations

TTW Africa focuses on innovative experiences like the Blue Safari in the Seychelles, which takes the safari concept to the sea. It also includes unusual destinations like Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, and Mozambique.
“We want to showcase a broad and diverse Africa, one that can be experienced year-round and with high-quality experiences for different profiles,” says Sagioro.

African hospitality as a differential

For Sagioro, the most unique aspect of the continent is the connection with its people:
“The African smile is transformative. The genuine way they welcome visitors turns every trip into an unforgettable experience. That's one of the destination's greatest assets.”
