World Travel Market London announced that this year's conference program will be guided by the theme "Reimagining Travel in a Changing World," which will unify the event's six work streams with the aim of bringing greater coherence and consistency to the agenda.

The content lines—Sustainability, Technology, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion (DEAI), Marketing, Geoeconomics, and Travel Trends—will maintain continuity from the previous edition, albeit with a cross-cutting focus. The organizers have opened a call for proposals, aimed at specialists, innovators, and industry leaders who wish to contribute with presentations aligned with the 2025 theme.

Interest in the congress sessions has become one of the event's main attractions. In 2024, attendance grew by 29% compared to 2023, prompting the expansion of spaces at ExCeL London, including new stages on level 0. By 2025, capacity will be increased again to meet projected demand.

The conference advisory committee is comprised of six industry experts, who are responsible for selecting and curating the presentations:

  • DEAI: Uwern Jong, Experientialist®-in-Chief en OutThere
  • Geoeconomics: Mark Frary, author and consultant
  • Marketing: Matthew Gardiner (Travel Massive/FINN Partners) y Tina Charisma (Charisma Campaign)
  • Sustainability: Tina O'Dwyer, CEO of The Tourism Space
  • Technology: Timothy O'Neil-Dunne, President of T2Impact LLC

The program of activities already has several key events defined. On Tuesday, November 4th, the Global Travel Report, the Sustainability Summit, and the Geoeconomics Summit will take place. Wednesday, November 5th, will focus on technology and DEAI meetings, while on Thursday, November 6th, the marketing summit, the ITT Future You Forum, and the closing keynote address will take place, the speaker of which will be announced shortly. In past editions, the final keynote address has been given by figures such as Katherine Ryan, Louis Theroux, and Steven Bartlett.

WTM London Conference Manager Brooke Gilbertson emphasized that the inclusion of a cross-cutting theme "seeks to inspire reflection on the purpose of travel in the face of global changes, emerging challenges, and new opportunities." She also highlighted that the call for content has allowed for the discovery of new voices and approaches, reinforcing WTM's commitment to providing an inclusive platform that fosters innovation and long-term debate in tourism.
