MCLEAN, Va. – Hilton (NYSE: HLT) and Small Luxury Hotels of the World™ (SLH) are celebrating the first anniversary of their exclusive partnership, which now includes more than 450 properties across Hilton’s global luxury portfolio. On average, more than one SLH hotel has been added per week over the past year, significantly expanding the offering and opening up unique experiences for travelers in 12 new countries, including Andorra, Cambodia, Slovenia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Sao Tome and Principe.
The integration of SLH into Hilton's luxury brands—including Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, LXR Hotels & Resorts, Signia by Hilton, and NoMad—has strengthened the expansion strategy, offering guests personalized stays in boutique destinations, from coastal villas to jungle lodges.
The impact of the partnership is reflected in the performance of participating properties, with a 78% increase in traffic to SLH hotels through Hilton's digital channels during July 2025 compared to the previous year. Owners benefit from Hilton's visibility and commercial scale, while maintaining each property's independent identity.
“Hilton's luxury portfolio is a priority growth category for us (…) Our partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World is key to that growth,” said John Rogers, senior vice president of brand management for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific at Hilton. Richard Hyde, chief operating officer of SLH, added that this collaboration “has been our strongest to date, driving significant bookings and attracting new properties to the portfolio.”
For Hilton Honors' more than 226 million members, the alliance has unlocked new aspirational travel opportunities, with more than 10 billion points redeemed at Hilton Honors hotels. Recent additions include Angkor Village Hotel (Cambodia), Sundy Praia (São Tomé and Príncipe), Vila Planinka (Slovenia), The Liming Bequia (Saint Vincent and the Grenadines), The Blackpine Hotel (Andorra), and Château de Maubreuil (France).
Looking ahead, Hilton and SLH plan to continue expanding the partnership with new properties in strategic markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, reinforcing the trend toward exclusive stays centered on authentic experiences.
