Santiago, September 2025 – Air France announced the launch of its innovative, free in-flight Wi-Fi service, available in all cabins and accessible with a Flying Blue account. The company has already equipped two Embraer 190s, two Airbus A220s, and soon an Airbus A350 with this technology, marking its debut on the long-haul flight network.
This new service allows passengers to stay connected during the flight to send messages, follow real-time news, watch movies and series, play online games, or work from their mobile devices and laptops, with the ability to connect multiple devices simultaneously.
The airline's strategy calls for high-speed Wi-Fi to be available on 30% of its fleet by the end of 2025, and 100% by 2026. During the transition period, aircraft not yet equipped will continue to offer connectivity options, including a free messaging pass for Flying Blue members and paid options for other uses.
To implement this service, Air France partnered with Starlink, a world-leading provider of high-speed, low-latency satellite internet, whose network of satellites in low-Earth orbit guarantees a reliable connection throughout the flight.
With this innovation, Air France reaffirms its commitment to elevating the travel experience, positioning itself at the forefront of in-flight connectivity services in the European market.
