Accor, the global leader in hospitality, announced the appointment of Marcus Simões as its new Vice President of PM&E Sales for the Americas (Premium, Midscale & Economy). With this appointment, the company strengthens its growth strategy in a key market for the group.
A graduate in Hotel Management from Anhembi Morumbi University and a specialization in Sales and Negotiation Management from FIA, Simões has nearly 20 years of experience in B2B sales, sourcing, and distribution. Throughout his career, he has worked at international companies such as Marriott, Hotelbeds, and HBX Group. This will be his second stint at Accor, where he previously held strategic positions in the commercial area.

With a solid track record leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in international corporate environments, the executive will assume responsibility for driving Accor's sales strategy in the Americas. His main responsibilities will include strengthening partnerships, managing strategic clients and teams, and driving revenue, market share, and commercial efficiency.
Marcus will report directly to André Sena , Chief Commercial Officer of Accor Americas – Premium, Midscale & Economy.
