Perard previously served as Emirates Country Manager for Brazil and Argentina. In this expanded role, he will be responsible for overseeing the airline's operations in the Latin American markets where it operates, specifically Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina. His responsibilities also include driving strategic initiatives, strengthening Emirates' presence in key markets, and ensuring sustained growth and excellence.
Perard will continue to be based in São Paulo and will report to Thierry Aucoc, Emirates' Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations (West), based at the company's headquarters in Dubai.
The creation of this position reaffirms Emirates' commitment to growing and strengthening its commercial and operational presence in strategic regions.
Since joining Emirates in 2014, Perard has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strong operational expertise. During his tenure as Country Manager for Brazil and Argentina, he played a key role in strengthening the airline's market position, developing strategic customer relationships, and delivering outstanding commercial results.
Emirates launched operations in Latin America in 2007 with flights to São Paulo and currently flies to five destinations in the region: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, and Mexico City.
In addition to its daily direct service between São Paulo and Dubai, Emirates operates flights from Buenos Aires to Dubai via Rio de Janeiro; from Mexico City to Dubai via Barcelona; and from Bogotá to Dubai via Miami, offering customers direct access and convenient connections to other destinations across its network, in addition to its hub in Dubai.
