The capital of Minas Gerais celebrates the official opening of TRIBE Belo Horizonte Savassi, marking the brand's debut in Brazil. Accor's newest hotel, a global leader in hospitality, arrives in the country with authentic design focused on experiences. The property is strategically located in the historic Praça da Liberdade, one of the city's main cultural and tourist hubs.
Designed for contemporary travelers seeking functionality, style, and unique experiences, TRIBE positions itself within the Group's midscale category, delivering comfort with bold design, agile operation, and an urban, creative DNA. The brand, created in 2017 in Perth, is already present in destinations such as Paris, London, Milan, Bangkok, and Amsterdam. After its debut in the Americas in 2024, with a unit in Medellín, TRIBE now checks in to Belo Horizonte to begin its expansion in Brazil.
“We are bringing to Brazil a hotel brand that breaks with traditional standards of the mid-range hotel segment, a proposal that combines hospitality and originality, with great development potential in the country,” explains Roberta Vernaglia, SVP of Marketing & Digital Strategy at Accor Americas, for the Premium, Midscale & Economy division.
Iconic spaces
With 79 rooms, TRIBE Belo Horizonte Savassi combines sophisticated finishes with optimized spaces, making the operation more connected and dynamic. The reception is integrated into Broa Coffee Shop, where coffee is made by baristas with selected beans. On the hotel's rooftop, the Coreto bar offers exceptional drinks with a panoramic view of the city.
“The idea is for all hotel spaces to become true meeting points, lively places, ideal for events that promote genuine, authentic, and creative connections. This is fully aligned with TRIBE's concept, which values the formation of global tribes—people who come together around common interests, experiences, and lifestyles,” adds Roberta.
One of TRIBE's major attractions is the Trintaeum restaurant, led by chef Ana Gabi, which has been operating since December 2024 and was considered one of the 100 best restaurants in Brazil. The establishment offers a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional cuisine, providing a true immersion in flavors.
The hotel also positions itself as a creative hub, where art, bold design, and gastronomy intertwine in an inspiring environment.
