Emirates appoints new executive to boost growth in Latin America

Perard previously served as Regional Manager for Brazil and Argentina. In this new position, he will be responsible for Emirates' operations in the markets where it currently operates in Latin America: Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, and Argentina. His responsibilities will include driving strategic initiatives, consolidating the airline's presence in key markets, and ensuring sustained growth with high service standards. 

The executive will continue to be based in São Paulo and will report directly to Thierry Aucoc, Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations (West), based at Emirates' corporate headquarters in Dubai. 

The creation of this position reaffirms Emirates' commitment to further expanding its commercial and operational footprint in strategic regions. 

Since joining the company in 2014, Perard has demonstrated outstanding leadership and deep operational knowledge. During his tenure as Regional Manager for Brazil and Argentina, he was instrumental in consolidating Emirates' market position, strengthening relationships with strategic customers, and achieving outstanding business results. 

Emirates launched operations in Latin America in 2007 with its first flight to São Paulo. It currently connects the region to five destinations: São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, and Mexico City. In addition to the daily direct São Paulo–Dubai flight, the airline operates services between Buenos Aires and Dubai with a stopover in Rio de Janeiro; from Mexico City to Dubai via Barcelona; and from Bogotá to Dubai via Miami. This provides passengers with direct access and greater connectivity not only to Dubai, but also to other destinations across Emirates' global network.
