Tierra del Fuego is actively participating in the International Tourism Fair (FIT 2025), which runs from La Rural to September 30, establishing itself as an attractive and competitive destination in Latin America's most important tourism sector.

“FIT is Latin America's most important tourism destination, and for Tierra del Fuego, it represents a privileged showcase where we can showcase the End of the World as a growing, innovative, and consolidating destination among travelers,” emphasized Vice Governor Mónica Urquiza.

INFUETUR President Dante Querciali emphasized that the province's presence at the fair strengthens year after year, highlighting the diverse experiences the destination offers. "This edition brought together hundreds of people who came to our space, discovering the attractions and services for this season, as well as the unique cuisine with our Fuegian flavors," he noted.

The provincial stand brought together 50 tourism service providers who showcased their offerings alongside tastings of local products, such as king crab from Puerto Almanza, chocolates, alfajores, and artisanal gin from Ushuaia and Río Grande. Producers from La Sirena and El Capitán, Puerto Pirata, Alfajores Australis, Chocolate Laguna Negra, and Gin Ghandi also participated. The municipalities of Ushuaia, Tolhuin, and Río Grande were also present.

FIT 2025 brings together 60 countries, all Argentine provinces, and more than 1,700 exhibitors, representing a 6% increase over the previous edition. The fair was open to the general public over the weekend, while Monday and Tuesday were dedicated to exclusive sessions for industry professionals.

The president of the FIT, Andrés Deyá, highlighted the importance of increasing tourism's competitiveness and emphasized the need for collaborative work between the private sector, the national government, and the provinces to build a more humane, sustainable, and inclusive tourism industry.
