Rome, September 29, 2025 – IACC, the international association of venue operators for business meetings and events, unveiled its new website, which incorporates the first AI-powered venue search engine developed by an industry entity. This innovation marks a turning point in the way professionals find and select spaces, combining speed, accuracy, and flexibility while also maintaining the traditional search option.
The platform brings together more than 400 IACC-certified hotels, resorts, conference centers, and experiential venues in 18 countries, representing the top 1% of the world's leading specialized venues. In addition to its smart search engine, it offers practical resources for organizers and management tools, case studies, and research for operators, strengthening the global IACC community.
Mark Cooper, CEO of IACC, emphasized: “Our goal has always been to provide clear information and concrete support to ensure every meeting or event finds the ideal setting. Our 2025 Meeting Room of the Future report confirms that venue selection is the single most important factor in event success. With this new platform, we're giving planners a smarter, faster, and more accurate way to connect with venues around the world.”
For her part, Nancy Lindemer, IACC Global President, emphasized the importance of the collective work behind the project: “What makes this launch so special are the people who made it possible. Our members helped define not only the narrative, but also the functionality of the search engine. We've created what we believe is the first tool of its kind developed by and for an industry association, with the language and priorities that truly matter to planners and venues. This is a cause for celebration and a key step toward the future of our community.”
With this innovation, IACC strengthens its leadership in the meetings industry and consolidates a collaborative model that combines technology, knowledge, and global experience.
