Aroldo Schultz explained that Wikitravel.Ai is a tool created for municipalities and provinces to provide quality photos, videos, and information. "The basic plan is free; any city can participate. For those who want more features, there are advanced packages with statistics and additional tools," the CEO stated.
Integrated disclosure in a single space
The platform's unique feature is that it brings together official content in a single environment. "If you search for Gramado, Mendoza, or Curitiba, you'll find the city's official website. This makes things easier, because we often don't even know which destination's official website is," said Schultz. Furthermore, the available images are royalty-free, allowing free use by those who consult them.
Growing adoption by municipalities and companies
According to the executive, the reception has been positive. "Nothing starts big; it's an achievement. Today, we've surpassed 9,000 daily visits, and the trend is set to grow even further," Schultz emphasized. The project already has support from cities in Paraná, Curitiba, and other countries such as Israel and Paraguay.
Impact on regional tourism
Wikitravel.Ai was also structured to support community and regional tourism initiatives. In Paraná, all ADETURs already have pages that gather information from member municipalities. "Tourism must first serve the citizen, then the tourist. This logic is central to the platform's development," said Schultz.
The importance of multilingual communication
Another highlight is the automatic translation of content. "It's a unique opportunity for tourism secretaries to realize the potential we're offering. The platform speaks many languages and expands the promotion of destinations globally," the executive emphasized.
Expanded connections at FIT
During the fair in Buenos Aires, Schultz took the opportunity to strengthen ties with international representatives. "I had a fantastic meeting with Paraguay's Secretary of Communications, who was very interested in the platform. The more destinations use it, the more visibility Brazilian attractions will have," he stated.
