In a day that was packed from the opening to the closing of the fair, business roundtables and the B2B platform were the main attractions, with over 10,000 appointments.
In addition, FIT Tech added innovation with a space dedicated to digital transformation and technological solutions that set trends in the industry, with talks and presentations by specialists.
“FIT demonstrates, once again, its importance as a strategic meeting point for tourism professionals from around the world. The exchange that takes place during business rounds, with the use of FIT B2B and through the tools offered by FIT Tech, consolidates the Fair as a driver of growth and a space to think about the future of our industry,” emphasized Andrés Deyá, president of FAEVYT and FIT.
This year's FIT 2025 opened in a very auspicious context, with figures that marked a qualitative leap. For the first time in almost three decades, the President of the Nation formally presided over the event's opening ceremony, underscoring the institutional dimension this fair has acquired in the country.
The start was no small feat: more than 62,000 attendees were registered on opening day, an 8% increase compared to the previous year, while throughout the weekend, FIT surpassed 130,000 visitors, representing a 13% increase.
Furthermore, the fair expanded its international horizon with the presence of more than 1,700 national and international exhibitors who filled the pavilions with cultural, gastronomic, technological, and tourism innovation offerings.
This vibrant and expansive atmosphere further enhances the value of the fair's professional sector: it's not just about one-off meetings, but about integrating itself into a framework of sustained tourism growth in Latin America, with opportunities that transcend the local level and leverage global connectivity.
