Tell me about the new developments Jamaica is coming to present at FIT.

Look, Jamaica has had great success with the Argentine market all year long, and that was proven at FIT with so many people coming to the stand to inquire about the destination. FIT was a success: we included five Argentine wholesalers among the group of 25 from Latin America who traveled to experience the product firsthand in Jamaica.

How would you describe the reaction of the Argentine market?

To be completely honest, we're very happy with the market. Argentina is reacting very quickly, and the Argentines are eagerly seeking Jamaica, thank God. We know Jamaica very well, more than they sometimes give us the impression, but this also has to do with connectivity, right?

What is air connectivity with Argentina currently like?

Yes, the number of flights and seats available to Jamaica helps us a lot. We have daily Copa Airlines flights to both Kingston and Montego Bay. Kingston maintains four weekly flights, and Montego Bay already has six. Additionally, LATAM's three weekly flights also contribute significantly. We hope LATAM will increase its frequency; we don't know yet if that will happen, but it would be ideal, because the more flights there are, the more Argentines will be able to travel to Jamaica.

What's new at trade shows and events between now and the end of the year?

At every trade show we're present, including FIT, there will be new developments. Executives from major airlines even participate, making the show a valuable opportunity for networking and partnerships.

In terms of properties and accommodations, what can you tell us?

Jamaica has several hotels under construction or expansion. Among them:

Riu Ocho Rios (room and service expansion).

Riu Palace Jamaica Hotel in Montego Bay.

UNICO 18°77° Hotel in Montego Bay, part of the luxury segment and recently advanced in construction.

TRS Jamaica, next to the Palladium Hotel, for adults, with exclusive experiences.

Hard Rock Hotel Montego Bay, under construction, with a casino and more than 1,000 rooms.

Hotel capacity is expected to increase significantly next year with these projects.

Are the goals you set being met, and what are your plans for next year?

Yes, they are being met; they haven't been exceeded. We believe we'll close the year with a flourish; Latin America has grown tremendously. If we compare 2025 vs. 2024, the increase is more than 100%. For next year, we expect more connectivity, more visitors, and we aspire to repeat this growth.

In closing, what message do you want to leave about Jamaica?

Jamaica is a destination that combines beaches, culture, cuisine, and unique experiences. With current connectivity and new hotel developments, we are ready to welcome more Argentine and Latin American travelers, offering memorable, high-quality experiences.
