What does it mean for The Palace Company to be in Argentina and announce this new project?

Thank you very much for the interview. Our company, which many still know as Palace Resorts, has been present in major Caribbean destinations for years. Now we are enthusiastically promoting the Grand brand, especially with the opening of Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana in March 2026. This is one of the most important openings globally, a resort that will be iconic for the Dominican Republic and the entire Caribbean.

What features make this resort a unique proposition?

First, its design. It will be two 17-story towers with 2,171 rooms, a vertical construction unusual in Punta Cana. This decision allowed for the preservation of the surrounding vegetation, avoiding expanding into the jungle. Furthermore, the concentration of spaces offers comfort: the first three levels will house most of the 19 restaurants, the spa, children's (Playroom) and teen (Wired) areas, as well as direct access to the pools, clubhouse, and golf course.

How does it differentiate itself in terms of services and guest experience?

As this is not a sprawling property, everything will be within easy reach, with covered and heated areas. We will have nine pools, each with a distinct focus: adults-only, sports activities, wellness, and more. We will also offer a large-scale spa, a 24-hour casino, paddle tennis, pickleball, and volleyball courts, and an 18-hole golf course. Entertainment will be comprehensive, with options for all ages: from a themed Playroom with an escape room and neon-lit mini-golf, to nightly shows and a convention center that will be the largest in Punta Cana.

You also mentioned the Ciudad Palace project. What is it about?

This is an initiative designed for our employees. Ciudad Palace will include housing, schools, hospitals, a church, and businesses so our employees and their families can live close to the resort. In the first phase, it will house 4,000 employees, with a final capacity for 12,000 people. We want to offer them a better quality of life, reduce commutes, and build their loyalty to the company, which also directly impacts the excellence of guest service.

How important will the group and wedding segment be?

It's a key market for us. The convention center will position us as a benchmark for large groups, incentives, and events. We're also leaders in weddings, averaging 200 per month at our current hotels. In Punta Cana, we'll offer 14 different ceremony locations, allowing for multiple simultaneous celebrations.

What will the promotional strategy for the new resort be?

We are working with the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Tourism and participating in major international trade shows such as FITUR, ITB, and World Travel Market. We are currently in the initial outreach phase, followed by a second, more detailed phase so tour operators and agents can gain a deeper understanding of the property's unique features.

When will Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana open?

Sales will open in December 2025. We will host familiarization tours for agents, operators, and the press in January and February. The official opening is planned for March 1, 2026. We are confident that those who visit the property will have a unique experience that will keep them coming back.
