On November 29, Lima will host the Copa Libertadores final, an event that could feature two Brazilian teams in a national derby away from home. The final is expected to generate approximately US$75 million in revenue for the local economy, according to Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), representing a 25% increase compared to the 2019 edition, also held in the Peruvian capital.
The projection considers the arrival of more than 50,000 foreign visitors to witness the final, which not only promises exciting action on the field, but also offers a unique opportunity to explore Lima's cultural, gastronomic and historical richness.
