Buenos Aires, October 8, 2025 — MSC Cruises announced the opening of sales for its second season in Alaska, corresponding to the northern hemisphere summer of 2027. MSC Poesia will homeport in Seattle , from where she will offer seven-night itineraries between April and September, calling at some of the most emblematic destinations in the region: Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Tracy Arm and Juneau (Alaska) , as well as Victoria (British Columbia, Canada) .
Ahead of her upcoming Alaskan seasons, MSC Poesia will undergo a major refurbishment, which will include the addition of the MSC Yacht Club , two specialty restaurants — Butcher's Cut and Kaito Sushi Bar —, the All-Stars Sports Bar , a renovated MSC Aurea Spa , and an enhanced MSC Gym Powered by Technogym® . These new features will be available beginning with the ship's inaugural Alaskan season in 2026 and continuing through her second season in 2027.

The 2027 season will begin with an 18-night repositioning voyage , departing on April 8, 2027, from Miami , traversing the Panama Canal to Seattle. This voyage will offer a unique opportunity for travelers interested in experiencing an iconic voyage through one of the world's most celebrated canals.

Ketchikan, Alaska: Known for its fishing history, traditional Creek Street, and collections of original 19th-century totem poles.
Icy Strait Point, Alaska: Alaska's first Native-owned cruise destination, surrounded by over 23,000 acres of coastline and temperate rainforest, with activities like ziplining, bear watching, kayaking, and Tlingit cultural storytelling.
Tracy Arm, Alaska: A 27-mile fjord surrounded by cliffs and waterfalls that culminates in the Sawyer Glaciers, famous for their intense blue color.
Juneau, Alaska: The state capital, accessible only by air or sea, offers views of Mount Roberts, remnants of the Gold Rush, and unparalleled mountain scenery.
