United Airlines announced its summer 2026 international schedule, which includes nonstop flights from Newark/New York to four new cities: Split (Croatia); Bari (Italy); Glasgow (Scotland); and Santiago de Compostela (Spain). With this expansion, the company reaffirms its position as the U.S. airline with the largest number of destinations across the Atlantic, with service to 46 cities during the upcoming peak season.

The airline will also add a new flight between Washington-Dulles and Reykjavik, Iceland, a daily year-round service between Newark/New York and Seoul, South Korea, and a third additional flight between Newark and Tel Aviv, Israel, consolidating its leadership in the international market.

“We pride ourselves on connecting our customers to unique, cutting-edge destinations that no other U.S. airline offers,” said Patrick Quayle, United’s senior vice president of Global Network Planning and Alliances.

Among the new European destinations, Split will offer direct access to the Adriatic and its historic Diocletian's Palace; Bari will connect travelers to the coastal landscapes and villages of Puglia; Glasgow will stand out for its culture and iconic architecture; and Santiago de Compostela will allow travelers to explore the legacy of the Camino de Santiago with the first direct connection from the U.S.

Additionally, United will return its record-breaking expansion routes from the summer of 2025, including Palermo, Bilbao, Madeira, Faro, Nuuk, Ulaanbaatar, and Kaohsiung. In total, the airline will offer more than 850 daily flights globally, with nearly 3,000 international roundtrips weekly.

With this new schedule, United strengthens its leadership in the transatlantic market and expands travel options for U.S. passengers looking to discover new European destinations in 2026.
