What is Embratur's main objective in participating in this edition of IMEX America?

IMEX America is one of the most important international trade shows dedicated to the B2B market. The corporate segment is strategic for Brazil, and we're here to promote the country, attract new business and more tourism, especially given the importance of the U.S. market for us.

What can you tell us about the Brazilian delegation participating in the event?

We are present with a large delegation representing some of Brazil's most iconic destinations: Iguazú, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Bahia, among others. We also have venue companies, operators, and hotel chains. The idea is not only to promote Brazil, but also to showcase the quality and capabilities of our service providers.

Is there any news regarding tourism infrastructure?

Yes, about a year ago we launched the Brazilian Center of Showcase, a platform dedicated to the B2B market and operators seeking new experiences and destinations. At this edition of IMEX America, we're introducing a new area focused exclusively on resorts, with specific information for the corporate segment. Additionally, we signed an important partnership with SITE Global, the world's leading incentive travel company, which strengthens our position.

What are the main source markets and where are they looking to grow?

The United States is currently the second-largest tourist market to Brazil, after Argentina. We also work with neighboring markets such as Chile and Paraguay. Although IMEX is held in the United States, it attracts operators from all over the world, allowing us to project the Brazilian offering globally.

What does IMEX America represent for Embratur?

It's an opportunity to demonstrate that Brazil is fully prepared to welcome international tourism, with 27 states and more than 100 unique experiences. That's why we believe our presence here is essential to continue strengthening the country's image as a top-tier destination.
