MSC Cruises announced today its 2026/2027 South American season lineup, which will feature six ships. Four will embark in Brazil, one will make dedicated embarkations in Argentina with stops in beautiful Brazilian cities, and another will visit the region during its round-the-world cruise. Highlights include the debut in Brazil of MSC Virtuosa, one of the company's most modern ships, and MSC Divina, which will make a regular season in the country for the first time. The season will begin in November 2026 and run through April 2027.
MSC Virtuosa joins MSC Divina, MSC Splendida, MSC Musica, and MSC Lirica in sailing around South America. MSC Magnifica will also visit destinations in South America as part of its 121-night MSC World Cruise itinerary.

MSC Virtuosa
The ultra-modern ship, launched in 2020, will arrive in Brazil for the first time. With 19 floors, the MSC Virtuosa offers the finest in international cuisine, world-class entertainment, relaxing bars and lounges, a Balinese spa and fitness center, a complete water park, and clubs for kids and teens. Its most distinctive feature is the iconic 112-meter-long promenade, featuring a stunning LED ceiling. For the first time, the ship will offer regular embarkations in Brazil. The elegant MSC Divina boasts a multitude of attractions for all ages, spread across 27,000 square meters of common areas. For the little ones, the ship features fully equipped children's areas, activities divided by age group, and instructors ready to entertain them throughout the voyage. Adults can enjoy four swimming pools, 12 whirlpools, bars, lounges, a nightclub, a bowling alley, the MSC Formula Racer simulator, a 4D cinema, a gym with Technogym equipment, and a full menu of services in the MSC Aurea Spa for pampering and relaxation. Gastronomy is another key highlight: it features six restaurants, including two specialty restaurants. MSC Splendida

It features four pools and 12 whirlpools, a large theater with impressive shows, a multi-sport arena, a high-tech 4D cinema, an MSC Formula Racer simulator, and areas specifically for children and teens. It also features an authentic Balinese spa. The MSC Splendida also includes the exclusive MSC Yacht Club for those seeking a superior experience.
MSC Musica
The sophisticated MSC Musica boasts a comprehensive entertainment and relaxation program, including three swimming pools, a sports area with mini-golf, a gym equipped with Technogym equipment, and a sports center for tennis, volleyball, and basketball. Guests can enjoy a state-of-the-art gym, a dedicated running track, and entertainment in a 1,200-seat theater. For the first time, the MSC Yacht Club experience will be available on a World Cruise, allowing guests to enjoy maximum comfort, privacy, and personalized service.
During her dazzling round-the-world itinerary, guests will visit more than 45 extraordinary destinations in 25 countries during her 121-night voyage. In South America, the ship will call at Salvador and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Buenos Aires and Puerto Madryn, Argentina; Puerto Stanley, Falkland Islands; Ushuaia, Argentina; and Puerto Montt and Valparaíso, Chile, with overnight stays onboard in Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, and Valparaíso, allowing guests to further experience these iconic destinations in the region.
