The property thus joins a select list of MICHELIN Keys hotels across 21 Caribbean islands and is part of an elite global group: of more than 7,000 hotels assessed, only 572 earned the Two Keys category in 2025.
Founded in 2011 by sisters Kimberly and Stephanie Rooijakkers, the Boardwalk Hotel Aruba transformed from a modest surf retreat into a luxury, adults-only boutique hotel. The property features 49 private casitas nestled among tropical gardens on a historic coconut plantation, just steps from Palm Beach. Its locally inspired design, island ambiance, and warm, personalized service have earned international acclaim, with ratings of 19.6 out of 20 from MICHELIN guests and 4.9/5 from TripAdvisor and Google.
