For three days, the country's industrial and commercial heartland will become the meeting point for Central American tourism, welcoming official delegations, international buyers, tour operators, airlines, media outlets, and representatives of the public and private sectors from across the region.
Organized by the Federation of Central American Tourism Chambers (FEDECATUR) and the Central American Tourism Promotion Agency (CATA), with national leadership from the Honduran Tourism Institute (IHT) and the National Chamber of Tourism of Honduras (CANATURH), CATM 2025 promises to be a true celebration of regional tourism, where Central America will showcase its natural, cultural, and gastronomic diversity to the world.
The event will bring together more than 80 international wholesalers from Europe, North America, Asia, and South America; 150 regional exhibitors, including hotel chains, airlines, and tour operators; and more than 2,000 B2B business meetings, which will strengthen the promotion of multi-destination tourism under a single, unified regional brand: Central America.
San Pedro Sula: a strategic and modern headquarters
With a first-class hotel and event infrastructure, international air connectivity, and proximity to tourist destinations such as Tela, La Ceiba, Puerto Cortés, and the beaches of the Honduran Caribbean, San Pedro Sula is establishing itself in the meeting tourism sector as an ideal host for an event of this magnitude.
CATM 2025 not only seeks to strengthen Central America's presence as a competitive multi-destination, but also to generate new investment opportunities, strategic alliances, and sustainable growth for the member countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA).
During this edition, coverage is expected from more than 50 specialized and general international media outlets, highlighting the destinations, tourism products, and experiences offered by the region.
With everything ready for its inauguration, Honduras is preparing for a grand Central American celebration, reaffirming its hospitality, organizational capacity, and commitment to regional tourism development.
