Just days before its inauguration, Honduras declares itself ready to welcome delegations from across the region and the world to the Central American Travel Market (CATM 2025), which will be held from October 21 to 23 in San Pedro Sula.

For three days, the industrial capital of Honduras will become the epicenter of Central American tourism, hosting international buyers, tour operators, airlines, media outlets, and representatives from the public and private sectors.

Organized by the Federation of Central American Chambers of Tourism (FEDECATUR) and the Central American Tourism Promotion Agency (CATA), under the leadership of the Honduran Tourism Institute (IHT) and the National Chamber of Tourism of Honduras (CANATURH), the event will bring together more than 80 international wholesalers, 150 regional exhibitors, and generate more than 2,000 B2B business meetings, promoting Central America as a unified multi-destination under a single regional brand.

With its modern hotel and event infrastructure, air connectivity, and proximity to destinations such as Tela, La Ceiba, Puerto Cortés, and the beaches of the Honduran Caribbean, San Pedro Sula is positioned as a strategic venue for this edition.

CATM 2025 seeks to consolidate Central America as a competitive and sustainable destination, generating investment and cooperation opportunities among the member countries of the Central American Integration System (SICA). It will also feature coverage by more than 50 international media outlets, which will showcase the region's tourist attractions and experiences.

With everything ready for its opening, Honduras is preparing for a grand celebration of Central American tourism, reaffirming its hospitality, organizational capacity, and commitment to regional tourism development.
