FITUR Talent will recognize the value of talent and human capital to boost the tourism sector

With a focus on people, talent, training, and professional development, FITUR Talent, the section organized by the International Tourism Fair in collaboration with RRHHDigital, will hold a new edition of its event as part of the Fair's next edition, which will take place from January 21 to 25 at IFEMA Madrid.
Under the slogan "Talent that transforms. Human capital as the key to the future of tourism," FITUR Talent will hold its program on Wednesday, January 21, in the Knowledge Pavilion. This new FITUR space, located in Pavilion 12 of the Trade Fair Center, will bring together the most innovative offerings focused on professional development in the tourism sector. It will also include the FITUR TechY, FITUR Know-How & Export, FITUR Sports, the FITURNEXT Observatory, and the Travel Technology area.
In this sense, FITUR Talent will showcase on this major knowledge platform the key aspects related to the role of people and talent as essential factors for the progress and sustainability of the tourism industry, along with technology and digital transformation.
A day of reflection on talent in a unique space for the sector
To address the major challenges of human capital in the tourism sector, FITUR Talent will feature the participation of human resources managers, tourism companies, and industry experts, who will bring to light the importance of people and talent management as transformative pillars of tourism development and excellence.
To this end, participants will discuss topics such as attracting and retaining talent, ongoing training and digitalization, well-being and occupational health, team diversity, and absenteeism in the sector.
Throughout the day, various roundtable discussions, debates, and keynotes will reveal success stories, experiences, trends, and best practices in human resource management in tourism environments such as hospitality, catering, destinations, travel agencies, and tourism employment policies adapted to new scenarios.
