MSC Cruises presents the 2026-2027 season in Argentina with the return of the MSC Splendida to Buenos Aires

New for the next season will be the return of the MSC Splendida dedicated to the local public and the elegant MSC Divina, which will offer itineraries of 7, 8 and 9 nights

MSC Cruises presents its highly anticipated 2026-2027 season in the country, which will feature the return of the MSC Splendida to the port of Buenos Aires, reaffirming the company's commitment to the Argentine market. Rounding out the offering for local guests, the MSC Divina will offer seven departures with seven-night itineraries.

MSC Splendida will offer 14 8- and 9-night sailings from Buenos Aires, from December 3, 2026, to March 31, 2027, to the most iconic destinations in Brazil and Uruguay, including Rio de Janeiro, Búzios, Ilhabela, Ilha Grande, Balneário Camboriú, and Montevideo. Guests can also enjoy New Year's Eve on board to enjoy the fireworks over Copacabana Bay. With seven international restaurants, multiple bars, four pools, 12 whirlpools, and a Balinese spa, the ship is designed to be enjoyed by family, couples, or friends. It will also feature the MSC Yacht Club, the exclusive "ship within a ship" concept, offering priority boarding and disembarkation, 24-hour butler service, a private restaurant, and VIP areas with panoramic sea views.

Prior to the season opener, MSC Splendida will embark on an 18-night Grand Voyage, departing on November 15, 2026, from Barcelona to Buenos Aires, with stops in Gibraltar, Casablanca, the Canary Islands, Maceió, Salvador, and Rio de Janeiro, among other ports along the Brazilian coast.

For its part, the elegant MSC Divina will offer nine 7-night departures from Buenos Aires between January and March 2027. Its route will include Santos, Balneario Camboriú, and Punta del Este, combining the most attractive destinations along the South American coast with the company's signature comfort, entertainment, and service.

In turn, both ships will embark on the incredible 22-night Grand Voyage from Buenos Aires to Europe, connecting South America with the European continent on an unforgettable journey. MSC Splendida will set sail on March 31, 2027, and will visit the magnificent Brazilian ports of Rio de Janeiro and Maceió; Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Tarragona in Spain; Ajaccio in France; Corfu in Greece; and Rome; Bari and Venice in Italy. MSC Divina will depart from Buenos Aires on March 11, 2027, visiting the ports of Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, and Maceió in Brazil; Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Alicante in Spain; Casablanca in Morocco; Naples and Rome in Italy, as well as the grand crossing of Gibraltar.

News for the 2026-2027 season in South America

During this new season in South America, which will run from November 2026 to April 2027, MSC Cruises will offer more than 100 itineraries in the region, combining relaxation, gastronomy, entertainment, and the company's trademark warmth. The new addition is the arrival in Brazil for the first time of the MSC Virtuosa, one of the most modern and technological ships in the world, accompanied by the MSC Musica and the MSC Lirica, which will offer varied itineraries designed for all traveler profiles.

The MSC Magnifica, for its part, will connect the continents during its 121-night World Cruise, visiting Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn, Ushuaia, and the Falkland Islands, as well as ports in Brazil and Chile.
