Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse arrive at the 2025 International Balloon Festival to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort

Magic comes to the skies of Mexico. This November, the 2025 International Balloon Festival (IFF) will receive a
very special visit: Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will land in León, Guanajuato, to be part of a historic celebration for the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort in California.

From November 14th to 17th, León Metropolitan Park will be filled with light, color and joy with more than 200 hot air balloons from 25 countries, and with a very special one: “Celebrate Happiness!”, the commemorative balloon of the 70th anniversary of Disneyland Resort in California will be the first time this balloon crosses borders, choosing León as its international debut site, and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as the Grand Marshals during the festival’s opening ceremony.

This visit is not only a tribute to seven decades of happiness, dreams, and imagination, but also a unique opportunity for thousands of attendees to experience the magic of Disney in a whole new way. The balloon and its iconic passengers invite young and old alike to share an unforgettable moment under the skies of León.

The International Balloon Festival is an event that combines spectacle, fun, and unforgettable encounters. Over four days, visitors of all ages can enjoy mass takeoffs, cultural activities, music, and entertainment in a festive atmosphere.
