The city of Warsaw became the epicenter of one of the most important events on the international tourism calendar, bringing together more than 300 attendees from 90 invited companies. The main purpose of the meeting was to analyze the challenges facing the sector, promote cross-market collaboration, and define guidelines for the sustainable growth of inbound tourism.
The activities ran from October 31st to November 2nd and included a Welcome Dinner, panel discussions, strategic presentations, and a closing Gala Dinner. Participants were also able to join a subsequent five-day tour of Krakow, Katowice, Wroclaw, and Berlin, to learn firsthand about some of the new tourism products developed for the Central European region.
Alejandro de la Osa, CEO of the organizing company, highlighted the importance of the event as a meeting point for strategic decision-making and the renewal of commercial ties. He emphasized that these events "represent an opportunity to define the immediate future of inbound tourism, strengthen alliances, and consolidate a shared vision for the sector."
The choice of Warsaw is part of the recent expansion of tourism programming in Poland, integrated into the WE ARE REGIONAL program, which offers more authentic and personalized cultural itineraries. These new tours include iconic destinations such as Krakow, Gdansk, Frombork, the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, and Malbork Castle, with Spanish-speaking guides and guaranteed departures for groups of two or more passengers.
Luis García, Product Director, noted that this expansion "reflects the desire to explore markets with great historical and cultural richness, offering meaningful experiences to travelers."
With a combination of professional work and cultural experiences, the event reaffirmed its role as a key space for innovation, the exchange of ideas, and the construction of a global network committed to sustainability and tourism excellence.
