Preferred Hotels & Resorts launches a revamped platform for MICE professionals

The world's largest independent hotel brand unveiled an updated version of its meetings and events website, with streamlined tools, greater content integration, and new features for more agile and efficient management

Preferred Hotels & Resorts announced the relaunch of its digital platform dedicated to the MICE segment, aiming to offer a comprehensive experience to meeting, conference, and corporate event planners. The new site, fully integrated with the company's main portal, incorporates a modern interface and advanced features that simplify searching, comparing, and booking venues at luxury properties.

Key new features include an optimized search feature that allows you to filter venues by location, capacity, room count, proximity to airports, applicable taxes, and other industry-specific criteria. Each result includes detailed information on available spaces, making it easier to submit requests for proposals (RFPs) and improving the efficiency of the planning process.

The company announced that by 2026, the platform will add new tools, such as filters for group rates, availability for exclusive events, natural lighting conditions, and room configurations. A cloud-based resource library will also be incorporated with immediate access to menus, floor plans, virtual tours, and technical diagrams of the spaces.

Amy Butterfield, Senior Vice President of Global Sales – Groups, highlighted that the update was developed in collaboration with the MICE Advisory Board , a committee comprised of industry experts and members of the global team. According to the executive, “This development reinforces Preferred Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to the meetings and events segment, ensuring the company continues to evolve in line with the needs of the professional community.”

The new portal also integrates the I Prefer Planner program , which allows event organizers to earn points for every dollar in revenue generated through the global sales team. Points can be redeemed for exclusive benefits and experiences at more than 600 independent hotels in over 80 countries, reinforcing the brand's value proposition for industry professionals.
