The Peruvian capital is preparing to celebrate a new edition of "Perú, Mucho Gusto Lima 2025," one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of the year. The event, organized by PROMPERÚ, will take place on the Costa Verde esplanade and will offer free admission to the public. Its objective is to pay tribute to the country's culinary diversity, promoting the values of sustainability, inclusion, and pride in regional traditions.
With 181 exhibitors, the fair will showcase a wide range of dishes representative of the coast, the mountains, and the jungle, as well as typical products and traditional preparations. Visitors can explore themed areas that will include everything from Lima cuisine of yesteryear to regional sweets, grilled dishes, food trucks, and bars serving craft beers, piscos, and Peruvian coffees.
The program also includes spaces for learning and interaction. Renowned national chefs will share their expertise through live classes and specialized forums that will address the role of Peruvian gastronomy in the international context. The culinary demonstration area will feature a new design and LED screens for a better audience experience.
In addition to the gastronomic offerings, the fair will include cultural and entertainment activities, such as concerts, folklore performances, dances, and interactive areas for the whole family. In the "Sustainable World Zone," attendees will be able to participate in recycling and eco-bag making workshops, in line with the event's environmental focus.
Located in the Magdalena del Mar district, near Miraflores, the fair also invites visitors to rediscover the city of Lima, world-renowned for its outstanding culinary offerings. The capital boasts restaurants included in The World's 50 Best Restaurants and Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants , in addition to its traditional "huariques," spaces that reflect authenticity and local flavor.
Lima combines a remarkable culinary heritage with a valuable historical and cultural heritage. Its Historic Center, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, along with neighborhoods like Barranco and Miraflores, offers an ideal setting for enjoying a complete experience that unites cuisine, history, and tradition.
