Arajet ranked among the top three airlines operating in the Dominican Republic during the third quarter of 2025, according to data published by the Civil Aviation Board (JAC). Between July and September, the company transported 354,437 passengers, representing 7.3% of the total number of travelers entering or leaving the country during that period.

According to the JAC's Dynamic Data Visualization System, the company surpassed airlines with a strong regional presence such as Delta, United, and Copa Airlines in passenger volume, trailing only JetBlue and American Airlines. Furthermore, when adding passengers carried on international connections, the quarterly total exceeds 400,000, equivalent to more than 9% of the total traffic recorded at Dominican airports.

This performance marks the most successful quarter since the company began operations three years ago. Among the factors behind this growth are the recent addition of the U.S. market to its destination network and the expansion of its fleet with two new Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, which has allowed for increased frequencies and improved regional connectivity.

The destinations with the highest passenger traffic during the year include Medellín, with more than 95,000 passengers transported; Bogotá, with 92,000; Mexico City, with more than 79,000; Buenos Aires, with nearly 77,000; and Lima, with 64,000, according to official JAC records.

In line with its expansion strategy, the company announced new routes that will strengthen its presence in the Americas and the Caribbean. In October, it will launch service between Punta Cana and Orlando, while in November, flights to Santo Domingo–Boston and Punta Cana–Chicago will be added. In December, new connections are planned to open between Santo Domingo and Buenos Aires, as well as between Punta Cana and Córdoba, thus expanding direct connectivity options between the Caribbean and the Southern Cone.

With these results, Arajet consolidates its position as a key player in Dominican aviation and reinforces its commitment to continue expanding its international network, focusing on operational efficiency and generating air mobility opportunities for the region.
