6th ANATO National Meeting on Inbound Tourism: coordination and learning for the Colombian tourism sector

The event will bring together more than 300 tourism entrepreneurs in Cali, strengthening training, innovation, and the promotion of inbound and domestic tourism

Bogotá, Colombia – On November 13 and 14, the Valle del Pacífico Events Center in Cali (Valle del Cauca) will host the 6th ANATO National Inbound Tourism Meeting, a key event for strengthening domestic and inbound tourism in Colombia.

“At ANATO, we continue working to improve tourism quality and training. This event, which brings together operating agencies, DMCs, wholesale agencies, and service providers, will offer an innovative agenda and contribute to the progress of the host region,” said Paula Cortés Calle, Executive President of ANATO.

During the first nine months of 2025, Valle del Cauca received 184,952 foreign visitors, while in 2024 the figure totaled 269,431, a 14% increase compared to 2023. Cali accounts for 81% of visitors entering the department, and between September 2025 and February 2026, its international air reservations represent 3.8% of the national total, showing an increase of 1.1% compared to the same previous period.

The event will offer specialized workshops on neurosales, authentic experience design, international tourism trends, event marketing 2030 , and sustainability , as well as a business networking space with more than 1,400 effective appointments to expand networks and showcase tourism services.

The "Discovering Destinations" segment will also be held, where four entrepreneurs will present their initiatives to a jury of experts, who will select the most outstanding project.

Finally, attendees will participate in territorial reconnaissance activities aimed at discovering the attractions of Valle del Cauca and strengthening its tourism offerings.

"With this meeting, we seek to promote training, business linkages, and regional strengthening. Each year, we design an innovative program that responds to the real needs of the sector," concluded Paula Cortés Calle.
