The services will be operated with B787-900 Dreamliners featuring 30 seats in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy, and 247 in Economy.
Flight AC90 will depart Toronto at 10:35 p.m., arriving at Ezeiza International Airport at 3:10 p.m. the following day. It will return as AC91, departing Buenos Aires at 4:45 p.m., with an expected arrival time of 5:55 a.m. the following day, always via São Paulo.
These flight schedules (every day except Tuesdays and Thursdays) allow passengers to connect in the Brazilian city with the service that Air Canada operates from Guarulhos to Montreal, thereby reducing travel time to this city in the Province of Quebec.
Furthermore, through its codeshare agreements, Air Canada allows flights from Aeroparque and Mendoza to Guarulhos and from Ezeiza to Rio de Janeiro with GOL Linhas Aereas to connect to Canada.
It is worth remembering that last year, a Memorandum of Consultation on Air Transport was signed between Argentina and Canada, promoting the liberalization of flights between Canada and Argentina. This implies the possibility of increasing connectivity between the two countries by expanding operational capacities by eliminating the restrictions in place until the signing of the memorandum. Furthermore, the Canadian government has relaxed the
visa regime for Argentine citizens. It is now simpler, faster, and more economical since, upon meeting certain requirements, travelers will no longer need to process a visa. They can simply apply online for an electronic travel authorization (eTA) to enter Canada by plane.
This benefit applies to those who already hold a valid, current U.S. nonimmigrant visa or have obtained a Canadian visitor visa within the last decade. A simple, fast, and online procedure is now available to Argentine citizens—and those of 12 other countries—who meet either of these two requirements, and at a significantly lower cost than the visa: only 7 Canadian dollars.
