Much more than a meeting of global tourism business and trends, the event is establishing itself as a space where diversity is celebrated, embraced, and represented.

Through a series of initiatives designed and implemented in collaboration with MOVER and SEMEARHIS, Festuris will present a robust accessibility framework.

“Festuris 2025's accessibility initiatives aren't simple adaptations; they reflect a vision that understands inclusion as part of innovation and sustainable development. Tourism is, and must increasingly be, inclusive and accessible. With this partnership with MOVER and Semearhis, the event demonstrates that it is possible—and necessary—to build accessible spaces with intention, planning, and care. We're looking at everyone and want to transform tourism and inspire those who work in it,” emphasizes Eduardo Zorzanello, CEO of Festuris.

“We believe that tourism is only truly transformative when it's open to everyone. Accessibility isn't a differential; it's a commitment to human dignity. At Festuris, we have a responsibility to inspire the market to look more sensitively at people—at all of them. To include is to see, to welcome, to create experiences that respect and value diversity. And that's the path we want to take,” reflects Marta Rossi, CEO of Festuris.

This year, unprecedented and thoughtful initiatives have been designed to serve people with visual or hearing disabilities, reduced mobility, or low vision. The goal is to facilitate access and offer a complete, safe, informative, and welcoming experience.

Technology and sensitivity: MOVER's approach to inclusion

The MOVER organization, which has excelled in promoting accessibility for years, will be responsible for a series of implementations that combine assistive technology, universal design, and empathy.

New features include: Installation of a tactile floor in the accreditation area, ensuring safe orientation for people with visual impairments from the moment they enter the event.

Implementation of beacons in the fair's segmented spaces. These small, cookie-sized technological devices work in conjunction with a mobile app. Upon passing by one of these spaces, visitors with visual impairments will automatically receive an audio message with a detailed description of the space, its dimensions, and the content offered there. This information is accessible in real time.

The beacon app will be available at the accessible accreditation desk, so visitors can easily install it and take advantage of the entire facility.

Additionally, Braille signage will be provided for all exhibitors in the Diversity and B&I (Business & Innovation) spaces, increasing the autonomy and interaction of blind people with the stands.

SEMEARHIS: accessibility in multiple forms of communication

SEMEARHIS, with its sensitive and committed approach, brings to Festuris 2025 a veritable network of accessible resources, ranging from Braille materials to videos translated into Libras (Brazilian Sign Language).

Audio descriptions of the fair and its programming will be provided, allowing people with visual impairments to fully understand the event and its activities in great detail.

Libras will produce videos with two focuses: an invitation to the event and another presenting the full program, guaranteeing the right to information for deaf users of Brazilian Sign Language.

For those who use Braille, the following will be available:

Programming in A4 book format in the accessible accreditation area;

List of exhibitors in Braille, also available there;

Braille menus for use in the food court;

And for people with low vision, a menu printed in enlarged font.

Those who prefer audio resources will be able to access audio narrations of the fair, the program, and the menu, all via QR codes strategically distributed at 15 points throughout the fair.

A major highlight will be the presence of two tactile maps, developed in collaboration with Inclusiva Arquitectura – consulting and design of architectural solutions:

One next to Hall 1 and another between Halls 1 and 2. These maps are essential for blind people to understand the event structure and move around more safely and independently.

There will also be a resource for mobility and dwarfism: rental equipment available at the LGBT+ Diversity depot, ready to be retrieved if needed.

Pounds in content scenarios

Communication in Libras will not be limited to videos. Festuris 2025 will feature Libras interpreters on the event's main stages, ensuring full access to the content presented live.

On the main content stage, Meeting Festuris, there will be a Libras interpreter on the mornings of the 7th and 8th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., throughout the panel program.

In the afternoon, also on the 7th and 8th, from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., the Diversity and ESG stages will also feature performers from Libras.
