The Punta Cana–Orlando Sanford route will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and will allow travelers to connect from Central Florida with six major Latin American cities: Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Santiago de Chile, Mexico City, Córdoba, and Lima.
“Launching this route in Orlando Sanford is a historic moment that fills us with pride, as we continue connecting the continent with the best value in the market and world-class service,” said Manuel Luna, Chief Communications and External Affairs Officer of Arajet. “Florida has established itself as one of our strongest markets in the United States, and this new route reinforces the success achieved in Miami, providing more options and convenience to Latino communities throughout the state.”
During the inaugural ceremony, the Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Orlando, Domingo Rosario, highlighted the importance of the flight, saying, "We are pleased to host this inaugural Arajet flight, which strengthens the ties between the Dominican Republic and the state of Florida. We appreciate the support of President Luis Abinader and his vision of promoting Dominican air connectivity."
For her part, Nicole Martz, president of Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), celebrated the arrival of the Dominican airline, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Arajet as our new airline partner. This inaugural flight marks a fantastic chapter for us, not only adding a vibrant airline to our network, but also reconnecting our community to the world. We are thrilled to reopen our doors to international flights and look forward to building a long-lasting and successful relationship with Arajet.”
Florida continues to be a cornerstone of Arajet's growth strategy in the United States, driven by the significant increase in demand for international travel. Since launching its Miami route in early 2025, the airline has seen record demand in the state. Orlando thus becomes the second Florida city served by Arajet, reaffirming its commitment to connecting diverse Florida communities with the Dominican Republic and the rest of the Americas.
During 2025, Arajet has rapidly expanded its network in the United States, establishing itself as the preferred airline for travelers seeking an affordable, modern, and high-quality Caribbean experience. The company currently operates in Miami, New York, Orlando, and San Juan, and will add Chicago and Boston in November, strengthening its position in the North American market.
