The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF), in partnership with the St. Croix Hotel & Tourism Association (SCHTA), proudly announced the successful completion of its Caribbean Supercharged Service and Leadership Training Series, empowering 165 hospitality professionals through intensive one-day workshops.

This marks the second consecutive year of collaboration between both organizations, highlighting their shared mission to foster service excellence, leadership, and professional growth in St. Croix’s hospitality industry.

The training included modules on Customer Service, Housekeeping, and Leadership, featuring topics such as Standards Implementation & Management, Find Your Service Vibe!, Circular Housekeeping, Happy Housekeepers – Eco-Smart, Safety-Strong, and Heartfelt Player Care. Participants from hotels, resorts, and tourism activity providers enhanced their skills to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

“Our members reported tangible uplifts in confidence, consistency, and service quality,” said Suzanne Rosbach, President of SCHTA. “We are proud to reinvest in our people’s professional growth and grateful to all partners who made this possible.”

The initiative was supported by Interval International, a longtime CHTAEF partner, along with SCHTA member properties such as The Buccaneer Beach & Golf Resort, Company House Hotel, Caravelle Hotel & Casino, and King Christian Hotel.

“It was an honor to partner again with SCHTA and witness the positive energy and eco-smart mindset within each property,” said Karolin Troubetzkoy, Chair of the CHTA Education Foundation.

Each graduate also received a Dream Vacation Week from Interval International, redeemable at partner resorts worldwide.

Tourism Commissioner Nominee Jennifer Matarangas-King congratulated the participants:
“As a community where over 70% of our GDP is tied to tourism, your growth and commitment reflect your vital role in our collective success.”

This ongoing collaboration underscores CHTAEF’s mission to advance professional development, sustainability, and service excellence throughout the Caribbean.
