Minor Hotels, a leading global hospitality group with more than 640 properties in 59 countries, announced the upcoming opening of NH Guadalajara Studios, a new concept that redefines the way people stay in Guadalajara. Designed for modern travelers who value comfort, functionality, and style, this project represents a strategic step in the company's expansion in Latin America and demonstrates its strong commitment to the Mexican market.
Scheduled to open in late 2025, NH Guadalajara Studios will join Minor Hotels' national portfolio, which will reach 18 properties with this opening and that of Tivoli Mérida Residences. Located in the heart of Colonia Providencia, one of Guadalajara's most exclusive and well-connected neighborhoods, the hotel will offer 152 loft-style studios designed for both short and long stays.
Each unit combines the privacy and warmth of a home with the services and attention of a first-class hotel. Equipped with a full kitchen—refrigerator, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and utensils—the studios offer independence without sacrificing the characteristic hospitality of NH Hotels & Resorts.
Among its main amenities are a restaurant-café, a rooftop with a pool and panoramic lounge terrace, a gym with natural light, a green terrace, coworking spaces, a meeting room, and a self-service laundry. All of this is based on the smart living concept, which prioritizes flexibility, comfort, and the connection between work and rest.
“NH Guadalajara Studios offers a new way to experience hospitality: more flexible, more connected, and more human,” the company stated. “It’s a space designed for those seeking to feel at home, without sacrificing design, well-being, and the local experience.”
Guadalajara: tradition, modernity and creativity in a single destination
Chosen as the fifth most visited destination by international travelers in Mexico according to SECTUR data, Guadalajara combines history, art, and modernity. From the Degollado Theater and the Expiatory Temple to the Agave Fields and the City of Tequila, the capital of Jalisco offers countless cultural and gastronomic experiences.
Furthermore, its business dynamism positions it as a constantly expanding technological and creative hub, where NH Guadalajara Studios finds its natural place: a proposal that responds to new ways of traveling, working and living.
Located at São Paulo 2370, the hotel is a short walk from NH Collection Guadalajara Providencia and close to landmarks such as Andares, Zona Minerva, Parque Rubén Darío and Bosque Los Colomos.
Hospitality that evolves with the traveler
More than just accommodation, NH Guadalajara Studios is conceived as a contemporary club that invites connection and well-being. Its interior design combines warm materials, natural light, and open spaces that foster conviviality, productivity, and relaxation.
The rooftop will be one of its biggest attractions, with a pool, panoramic views and a cocktail bar offering a contemporary mixology menu, ideal for both after work and a night out with friends.
Aimed at mobile professionals, digital nomads, and creative travelers, the new hotel redefines the concept of extended stays. With this opening, Minor Hotels reaffirms its vision of modern, flexible, and human-centered hospitality, consolidating its presence in Latin America with projects that combine design, functionality, and the authentic spirit of each destination.
