The Caribbean Tourism Organization appoints Taraneh Azimi as its new Business Development and Marketing Manager

Bridgetown, Barbados – October 30, 2025. The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) announced the appointment of Taraneh Azimi as its new Business Development and Marketing Manager. With a strong track record in the travel, aviation, spirits, luxury, and hospitality sectors, Azimi will bring her global expertise to the advancement of the Caribbean brand.

CTO Secretary General Dona Regis-Prosper emphasized that Azimi's appointment "represents an important step in strengthening the CTO brand and deepening collaboration with strategic partners across the region and the world." The new executive has led global marketing and communications initiatives for renowned companies, including British Airways and Mount Gay Rum Distilleries, solidifying her reputation as a leader in innovation and strategic management.

A first-class graduate in Management and Marketing from Royal Holloway, University of London, Azimi will lead initiatives aimed at increasing the CTO's international visibility, generating new revenue opportunities, and consolidating partnerships that strengthen the Caribbean's position as a premier tourist destination.
