Technology will once again take center stage at World Travel Market (WTM) 2025, one of the most influential events in global tourism, bringing together more than 4,150 exhibitors from around the world and 46,000 attendees at the Excel London convention center. This year, more than 115 technology companies will present solutions and products designed to drive innovation in the travel industry.

The program will include 109 activities and 79 conferences on sustainability, technology, accessibility, diversity and inclusion, as well as the impact of geoeconomics on tourism. “WTM is an essential event for the sector's technology ecosystem, not only for the networking opportunities, but also for the knowledge that is shared,” said Antonia Aguiló, account director at Belvera Partners, a global agency specializing in B2B travel technology.

Among the featured speakers is David Armstrong, CEO and co-founder of HolidayPirates Group, who will participate in the panel “Meet the Founders: The Journey of Creating, Funding, and Scaling Travel Innovation” on November 4. Meanwhile, Stephen Joyce, global head of travel at Protect Group, will address the role of artificial intelligence in the panel “AI: Enemy of Travel” on November 5, analyzing the limitations of automation and the importance of human oversight.

The agenda will also include discussions on geopolitics and tourism, with Mariano Dima, president of Civitatis, participating in the panel “The New Giants of Tourism.” Dima emphasized that “today’s travelers prioritize authentic experiences and human connection, and technology is key to making them possible.”

Another key theme will be the economy of tourism content creators, analyzed in the panel organized by Stay22, which will explore the impact of a market that will exceed $250 billion in 2026. Its commercial director, Fred Aouad, highlighted that “when brands stop seeing creators as campaigns and start treating them as partners, the results multiply.”

The fair will also feature GoNexus Group, which will present its new luxury travel division, and Dida Holdings, whose CEO Daryl Lee will debut at the event to showcase the company's next phase of development based on artificial intelligence.

Travelsoft, along with its brands Atcore, Orchestra, Tigerbay, Travelgate, and Travel Compositor, will also be showcasing its latest technological innovations. “WTM is the ideal space to connect technology, content, and community,” said Christian Sabbagh, founder and CEO of the group.

For their part, InterLnkd, winner of the WTM Start-up Pitch Battle 2023, and companies like Trava, will also be present to strengthen alliances and explore new opportunities in an increasingly competitive sector.

With its sights set on the future, WTM 2025 reaffirms its position as the great meeting point where technology, creativity and tourism merge to shape the next era of travel.
