World Travel Market London 2025 kicked off today, solidifying its position as the largest and most influential edition in the event's 45-year history. Driven by strong international demand and the expansion of the ExCeL London venue, the event will run from November 4 to 6, bringing together tourism professionals from around the world.

The 2024 edition had already set a record with an 11% increase in qualified buyers and over 34,000 pre-arranged meetings. This year, WTM London takes another leap forward with an additional 25,000 m² of exhibition space—a 25% expansion—allowing for more exhibitors, new content, and immersive experiences.

Among the key new features is WTM Trend Fest, a new cultural program celebrating global experiences centered around gastronomy, wellness, pop culture, sports, and adventure. This space offers live performances, themed activations, and sponsorship opportunities that reflect the industry's most innovative trends.

More than 4,000 exhibitors participated in the last edition, an 8% increase compared to 2023, and organizers expect to far exceed that figure in 2025. In addition, WTM TV is being launched for the first time, a live channel designed to connect and educate audiences inside and outside the venue, giving partners and attendees a new window of visibility and specialized content.

The event also reinforces its role on the global tourism policy agenda. In 2024, it brought together more than 50 tourism ministers, and even greater participation is expected at the 2025 Ministerial Summit, organized in conjunction with UN Tourism and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC).

Under the leadership of its new Event Director, Chris Carter-Chapman, WTM London 2025 aims to solidify its global leadership. “All indicators point to this being a historic edition,” said Carter-Chapman. “We are creating a dynamic platform that reinforces London’s role as the epicenter of the global dialogue on tourism and travel.”

The conference program, curated by the Conference Advisory Team, will feature renowned figures such as Uwern Jong (OutThere), Mark Frary, Matthew Gardiner (Travel Massive), Tina Charisma (Charisma Campaign), Tina O'Dwyer (The Tourism Space), and Timothy O'Neil-Dunne (T2Impact).
The conference themes will be announced in the coming days, and tickets will go on sale later in November.

With a renewed focus, expanded infrastructure and the participation of key industry players, WTM London 2025 is shaping up to be a turning point for the future of global tourism.
