“Our participation in the London Tourism Fair reaffirms Governor Mara Lezama’s commitment to strengthening the international promotion of the Mexican Caribbean. The United Kingdom is a strategic market that values the natural beauty, culture, and hospitality of our destinations, and we will continue working to attract more visitors who will generate development and well-being for Quintana Roo families,” stated Bernardo Cueto Riestra, head of the State Tourism Secretariat (Sedetur).

As part of the activities, the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Mexican Caribbean pavilion took place this Tuesday, marking the formal start of the promotional events before the international public.

The World Travel Market (WTM) is one of the most influential events in the global tourism sector, with over 4,000 exhibitors, 180 countries represented, and 46,000 attendees, including tour operators, investors, and tourism professionals. Its importance makes it a key platform for strengthening strategic alliances and diversifying international markets for Quintana Roo.
