TAP Air Portugal strengthens its connectivity between Brazil and Europe with 91 weekly flights in the winter season
The Portuguese airline expands its operations compared to the previous year and consolidates its position as the main international carrier between the two continents
With the start of the European winter season, TAP Air Portugal is increasing its number of flights between Brazil and Europe, from 87 to 91 weekly frequencies compared to the same period last year. This increase consolidates the company's leadership as the main international airline connecting the two continents.
The operation includes 15 routes originating from 13 Brazilian state capitals, guaranteeing extensive coverage of the country. Key destinations include São Paulo, with 18 weekly flights; Rio de Janeiro, with 12; Recife, with 10; and Belo Horizonte, with 7. Other cities served by the network include Fortaleza, Salvador, Brasília, Natal, Florianópolis, Porto Alegre, Belém, Manaus, and Maceió.
In 2025, the year in which the company celebrates its 80th anniversary, TAP reaffirms its commitment to bringing Brazil and Europe even closer together through a service characterized by the excellence, trust and hospitality that distinguish it.
During the 37th edition of Festuris Gramado, TAP Air Portugal participates with its Varanda TAP space (LRL1), reinforcing its presence in the Latin American market and its closeness to the tourism trade.
Founded in 1945 and a member of Star Alliance since 2005, TAP Air Portugal maintains its main hub in Lisbon, a strategic point connecting Europe with Africa, North, Central, and South America.
